Dear former classmates! This book is a journey back to our shared school days, filled with memories and personal stories. Let’s revisit those times and see how our paths have evolved over the past years.
Jessica
This was my nickname in school, and how it came about:
Funnily enough, my nickname was "Scully" because I had reddish hair back then and looked a bit like Scully from The X-Files.
My fondest memory from our school days:
The exchange program in 12th grade. I had an amazing time in Sweden.
This is how my career has developed since school:
I studied Foreign Languages and Applied Linguistics, spent a few years in Oslo, and now work as a translator at a major publishing house.
I´m still in contact with these classmates today:
Im still very close with Amy. We live on the same street and see each other often.
These three things I still want to experience:
A safari in Africa, publishing my first book, and showing my family my second home in Oslo.
This is what I would tell my 16-year-old self:
I was very shy back then, so Id say: "You dont have to hold yourself back all the time. Your voice is just as important as everyone elses. Dont be afraid to use it."
What we should experience together again as a class:
Maybe an Escape Room adventure. It challenges us as a team and is fun just like in class back in the day.
Something else I want to say:
I hope we all remember our school days fondly.

This was my nickname in school, and how it came about:
My nickname was "Speedy" because I was always the fastest in PE class.
My fondest memory from our school days:
Sports days were always a highlight for me. They were a mix of competition and fun, and our class had such great team spirit.
This is how my career has developed since school:
After school, I studied Sports Management and now work for a major sports club. Its great to combine my job with my passion for sports.
I´m still in contact with these classmates today:
Im still in touch with a few people, especially through our WhatsApp group. We meet up occasionally to play tennis.
These three things I still want to experience:
1. Completing a triathlon, 2. Taking a trip to New Zealand to go hiking, 3. Eventually managing my own sports team.
This is what I would tell my 16-year-old self:
Trust in your abilities, but dont forget to take breaks. Its okay not to always be the best.
What we should experience together again as a class:
How about organizing our own sports tournament? Or maybe a group hiking trip.
Something else I want to say:
Ive learned that with hard work and perseverance, you can achieve a lot. I hope all of you are doing well, and I look forward to seeing everyone again soon.

This was my nickname in school, and how it came about:
My nickname was "Sunny" because I was always in such a good mood, or so they said.
My fondest memory from our school days:
Our school trip to France I still think about it often and even tell my boyfriend stories from that time.
This is how my career has developed since school:
After A-levels, I followed a more traditional path and started an apprenticeship. Im now working in the public administration office.
I´m still in contact with these classmates today:
I´m still really close with the girls from our group. We meet once a month for dinner together.
These three things I still want to experience:
Running a full marathon (Ive already done the half-marathon), a holiday in the Seychelles, and becoming a certified yoga instructor.
This is what I would tell my 16-year-old self:
Worry less about what others think of you. Trust that everything will fall into place, even if things seem chaotic at times.
What we should experience together again as a class:
A BBQ night with music and a bonfire, just like old times.
Something else I want to say:
It was such a great time with all of you. I always enjoyed how easygoing and friendly our class was, and I hope we can keep that spirit alive at future reunions.

This was my nickname in school, and how it came about:
My nickname was "Jams" because people liked to shorten my name and play on the word jam, which somehow stuck with me throughout school.
My fondest memory from our school days:
Definitely the time we won the football tournament in Year 11. The team spirit and celebration afterward were unforgettable.
This is how my career has developed since school:
After school, I went to university to study engineering. Now Im working as a mechanical engineer, and I really enjoy the technical challenges.
I´m still in contact with these classmates today:
Im still in touch with a few mates, especially Tom and Harry. We meet up occasionally for a drink or to watch the football together.
These three things I still want to experience:
Skydiving, 2. Visiting Japan during cherry blossom season, 3. Learning to play the guitar.
This is what I would tell my 16-year-old self:
Dont worry so much about whats next. Things have a way of working out, and youll find your way.
What we should experience together again as a class:
It would be great to do a class trip again, maybe something adventurous like hiking in the Lake District.
Something else I want to say:
Im grateful for the time we had together. It shaped a lot of who I am today, and I hope we can all stay in touch over the years.
Olivia
This was my nickname in school, and how it came about:
My nickname was "Liv" pretty simple, just a short form of Olivia that everyone used.
My fondest memory from our school days:
I loved the drama performances we put on. Our Year 12 production of Romeo and Juliet was definitely a highlight for me.
This is how my career has developed since school:
After finishing school, I studied media and communications at university. Now, Im working as a content creator for a digital marketing company.
I´m still in contact with these classmates today:
Im still in touch with Ava and Sophie. We have a group chat and try to meet up whenever we can, though life gets busy!
These three things I still want to experience:
1. Learning how to surf, 2. Attending a music festival like Glastonbury, 3. Starting my own small business, maybe something creative like a photography studio.
This is what I would tell my 16-year-old self:
Dont stress too much about fitting in. Be yourself the people who matter will love you for it.
What we should experience together again as a class:
I think it would be fun to have a class reunion at our old school, maybe with a quiz or some games to bring back memories.
Something else I want to say:
I had such a great time with you all, and I hope we can keep the connections going for years to come. Here's to more good times ahead!
